Sisters of the Quantock Hills is the compelling saga of the lives and loves of four sisters – Frances, Julia, Gwen and Sarah Purcell – and their neighbours, the Mackenzies.
Beyond the Orchid House (Book Four) is Gwen’s story. Ina contrast with her sisters, Gwen has a peaceful life looking after the family home, Hillcrest, and its large garden. But her calm is shattered when she accepts an invitation from an orchid grower to visit Germany. For the year is 1936, the Nazis are in power and Gwen is forced to face some unpleasant truths.
